Made from 18-8 stainless steel, these hex head screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. A Torx drive has more points of contact than Phillips, slotted, and square drives, allowing you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. They penetrate 0.025" and thinner sheet metal. Length is measured from under the head.
